Windsor

Residential Project

A home rich in history and sentimental value. Originally owned by our client’s grandparents, this cherished property has been elevated, shifted, extended and meticulously redesigned to meet flood zone requirements while preserving its timeless character.

Our approach focused on seamlessly blending the home’s original charm with contemporary functionality, all while respecting strict character overlay regulations and harmonising with the streetscape. Every design decision was made with care, ensuring the home remains a sanctuary for generations to come. Working closely with our clients, trades and suppliers, the MTID team is proud to have created a forever home that beautifully balances heritage and progress.

Bold painted cabinets sit on chocolate timber floors, while the high ceilings and softest of grey walls keep the home light and bright. The team at MTID added in traditional heritage features, ceiling roses, board and batten detail and a decorative archway nod to the past while the Tom Dixon Melt pendants speak to the future.
